Obituary and funeral services: Michael Jay Snow, 59, of Monroe

Michael Jay Snow, age 59 of Monroe, GA, passed away January 20, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monroe with Mr. Terry Prater officiating. Interment will be at a later date at Terrace Cemetery in Post, TX. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Lee & Overa Guthrie Snow, also by three sisters, Wanda Snow, Patsy Stevens, Audrey Martin and two brothers, Bobby Snow and Billy Snow. He is survived by his brother, Gary Snow of Monroe; sister, Helen Long of Louisiana; sister-in-law, DaRita Snow of Monroe; brother-in-law, Ray Martin of Lawton, OK and many nieces and nephews. Michael was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Monroe. He worked several years at Baccus Pest Control in Monroe, and he was a police officer for nine years in Sayre, OK. He also served in the Army National Guard from 1976 until 1992.
