Perry Waits, age 81, of Monroe, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. Perry was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a member of the Campton Masonic Lodge #566. Mr. Waits retired with 30 years of service from AT&T as an electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Waits; parents, Curtis and Winnie Mae Waits. Mr. Waits is survived by his children, Scott Waits (Stacy) of Martin, Teresa Wickline of Jefferson, Larry Rawlings of Monroe; brothers, Phillip Waits and Maxx Waits of Alabama; many grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
