Justin & Tayler, Brian, Hailey, & Morgan. She was preceded by and reunited with high school sweetheart of 44 years, Michael Johnston.
Born in Loganville, Georgia on October 10th, 1959, to Raymond Dutton and Faye Brock. She married her high school sweetheart Michael Wayne Johnston, son of Dale and Johnnie Johnston, on June 29th, 1976 in Walhalla, South Carolina. The couple welcomed their son Shawn Michael Johnston into their lives in 1982. Teresa loved life and loved others. She took pride in the dedication she made over many years working for Quail International. If she was not working she was with family and friends, she loved to go to the movies, on weekend trips to the mountains, or anywhere just to enjoy life surrounded by those she loved. If there was a baby around, she was holding it and giving it her special “Nana” touch that only she could. She loved others so deeply and she was loved so deeply in return, “to the moon and back”, as she has always said. You could always count on her for a listening ear, an honest opinion, and to be your biggest fan. She had the kindest most giving heart of anyone you could ever know, truly was an angel on the Earth that we were blessed to know. Her time with us was taken tragically too soon, but we forever will be grateful for the time we got to share. She will always be remembered as an incredible, loving and devoted mother to Shawn and the best Nana whose greatest passion was showing love to others.
