Vernon T. “Pop” Splawn, Sr., age 83 of Loganville, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017. Funeral Services will be held at 12 PM on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Rickie Boze and Rev. Douglas Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville.
Mr. Splawn retired from Floyd S Pike Electrical Contractors after 40 years of service as a lineman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Splawn, and his son, Vernon T. Splawn, Jr. He is survived by his Son & Daughter-in-law: Larry & Susanne Splawn of Loganville; Granddaughters: Amanda & Rickie Boze of Loganville; Mindy Splawn & Allen LeFebbre of Loganville; Jennifer Splawn of Hyden, KY; Great Grandchildren: Aubrey Boze, Austin Boze, Aron Boze, Preston Collett; Sisters & Brother-in-law: Sylvia Scruggs of Forest City, NC; Shirley & George Glawson of Forest City, NC; Helen Bowman of Lawndale, NC.
