Obituary: Chuck Jones, 68, of Monroe

Chuck Jones, age 68 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. Funeral Services were at 3 PM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Woodlake Baptist Church, 3940 Hwy. 138, Covington, GA 30014. Pastor Jerry Grey officiated. Interment will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

Chuck was a graduate of A.R. Willingham High School in 1967 and Ga Southwestern in 1977. He was a member of Woodlake Baptist Church and was a retired auditor with the GA Department of Labor. He loved his family, church, UGA football and golf. Mr. Jones was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972 where he served his country in the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by Parents: Herman & Alice Etheredge Jones and Sister: Sue Busbee. He is survived by his Wife of 10 years: Mary M. Jones of Monroe; Children: Jason & Krissy Jones of Jersey, Annie & Travis King of Woodstock and John Lynch of Athens; Sister & Brother-in-law: Nancy & Glyn Gamble of Jefferson City, TN; Brother-in-law: Buddy Busbee of Pensacola, FL; Grandchildren: Hewett & Gray Jones and Campbell King.
