Danny Clay Shumake, age 69 of Monroe, passed away on May 7, 2019. He was born in Jefferson, GA on January 6, 1950 to the late Grover Shumake and the late Connie Ferguson Shumake. He was preceded in death by his sister and five brothers.
Surviving members of his family are; wife, Nancy Shumake of Monroe; daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and Jerry Collins of Griffin, GA, Megan and Joshua Charles Porter of Atlanta, GA; son, Eric Shumake of Monroe; brother and sister-in-law, Nelson and Christa Shumake of North Carolina; grandchildren, Trevor Shumake, Savannah Shumake, Kyle Collins, and Victoria Collins; great grandchild, Joshua Perkins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Mt. Vernon Christian Church Cemetery. Please sign the guestbook online at www.meadowsfuneralhomeinc.com.
