Obituary: Donald Edward Waldrop, 87, of Monroe

Donald Edward Waldrop, age 87, of Monroe, died on November 28, 2018. He was born in Walton County on September 22, 1931, to the late Clara McElroy Waldrop and the late Paul Waldrop. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Josephine Waldrop, and daughter, the late Jean Roberts.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Gary Clegg of Social Circle, Donna Brown of Atlanta, Teresa and Mike Boggs of Winder; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Waldrop of Monroe, Paul and Lorie Connell of Chickamauga, Ricky and Pat Connell of Chickamauga; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Sunday, December 2, 2018, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Clegg and Rev. Darrell Allen officiating. Interment followed at Westlawn Cemetery.
