Obituary: Jimmie Ruth Yearwood, 83, of Monroe

Jimmie Ruth Yearwood, age 83 of Monroe, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe. Pastor Don Malcom will officiate. Jimmie Ruth was a member of the Monroe Church of God and she was a seamstress at Oxford slacks for over 30 years. She was born and raised in Oconee County then moved to Walton County. Jimmie Ruth was preceded in death by her Parents: James Lewis & Ruby Cross Whitehead; Son: Donald Yearwood; and she is survived by her loving Husband of 61 years: Ralph Yearwood of Monroe; Daughter & Son-in-law: Carol & Ronnie Hanson of Rutledge; Son: Ronald Yearwood of Monroe; Brother: Aaron Whitehead of Nicholson; Sisters: Mae Julie Sigman of Monroe, Ruby Nell Hardigree of Bogart; Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
