Jimmy graduated from Monroe Area High School and he was preceded in death by his mother, Helen A. Sells in 2024. He is survived by his father, James Franklin Sells, Sr of Monroe; sister, Tonya Sells of Monroe; aunts, Janice Bolton of Statham; Lona Williams of Brownsville, TX; uncle, Franklin (Martha) Williams of Lawrenceville, GA; aunts, Gloria Sells Cochran of Lilburn and Glenda Sells of Monroe.
