Lucille Astin Barker, age 92, of Monroe, died on February 9, 2017.
She was born in Monroe on September 3, 1924 to the late John Thomas Astin and the late Ruby Mae Lane. Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband, the late Thomas Jefferson Barker. Surviving are: nieces and nephews, Eleanor and Charles Harwell, Kenneth and Laurie Smith, Sr; great nieces and great nephews, Lynn and Ronnie Maynard, Michele Harris, Clifton and Leann Harwell, Kenneth and Amanda Smith, Jr; several great great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home. Interment followed at Social Circle City Cemetery. Meadows Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements. Please sign the guestbook online at www.meadowsfuneralhomeinc.com
