Construction of Panera Bread locations in Monroe and Loganville are currently under way. The Monroe location is expected to open in the spring. The building is in the process of going up on Spring Street between Taco Bell and Wendy’s.
The Loganville location is a little further behind, but, according to a representative in attendance at last week’s city council meeting in Loganville, it should be open by late summer. It will be located in the Gwinnett County side of the city next to the Hobby Lobby location. The city granted a waiver on the buffer Thursday that will allow for construction to begin. Both Panera Bread and Hobby Lobby will be located next to Ace Hardware on Highway 78 – across the road from Sonic.
According to the Panera Bread website, the company serves food that does not contain artificial preservatives, flavors or sweeteners and colors from artificial sources. Menu items include freshly baked breads, pastries and sweets, bagels and spreads as well as breakfast items, soups, salads and flatbreads.
Panera Bread has more than 2000 locations in 41 US states and Canada with the corporate offices located in St. Louis, MO.
