According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Mason Barrow, of Loganville, was arrested in the area of Cown Road and Maple Creek Drive for failure to maintain lane, no license on person, and driving under the influence following a single vehicle accident. WCSO report that the three passengers were juveniles.

WCSO report that deputies were dispatched to the wreck where the four occupants of the vehicle, Barrow and three passengers, had left the scene prior to their arrival. Officers set up a perimeter and called in for Sgt. Chris Kirven and K-9 officer Sgt. Falco. Three were located attempting to leave the area in a Lyft vehicle. The fourth subject was located after a citizen called in on a suspicious person a short distance from the wreck area.

The vehicle involved in the wreck, a 2009 Ford Fusion, was found to be missing from Sparks Cars in Loganville. An employee of the company identified Barrow and one of the other occupants of the vehicle who had been on the car lot the day before inquiring about a white BMW.  The wrecked vehicle had been on the back of the lot with the keys accessible prior to it going missing.
