Monroe, Ga. (April 15, 2019) – Piedmont Walton Hospital will be hosting a Walk with a Doc event at 5:15 p.m on Thursday, April 18. Local residents are invited to attend this event and enjoy a leisurely walk on the hospital campus while getting some important health tips at the same time.

New to the Walton County community, the Walk with a Doc program on Thursday will offer the opportunity for community members to meet and consult with family medicine specialists Diondra Atoyebi, D.O., and Joel Garrison, D.O., with Piedmont Physicians Monroe Family Practice. During the walk, the doctors will share tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle and will be available to answer any questions.
The walk will include an easy, one-mile path around the hospital’s campus, beginning at Piedmont Physicians Monroe Family Practice at 2161 West Spring Street, Suite A in Monroe.
“We are excited to provide residents a chance to learn some important health tips, while also moving and exercising,” Dr. Atoyebi said in a press release. “Whether it’s walking, running, cycling or simply strolling with your family, this walk will provide a dedicated space for physical activity that contributes to a healthy lifestyle.”
