The Harvest is hosting a candle lit vigil with music and testimonies in honor of the Kirk Family, families, the community and the country from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, at the Walton County Historic Courthouse in Monroe.
Charlie Kirk died on Sept. 10, 2025 after being shot in the throat during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. He was 31 and leaves behind his wife, Erika, as well as a 3-year-old daughter and a 10-month-old son.

His assailant, Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident, has been arrested and is charged in the murder. He faces a slew of charges in connection with the murder and the state of Utah is seeking the death penalty.
