Walnut Grove resident Cindy Jordan will be at the Walton County Board of Commissioners meeting on Tuesday to give a brief presentation on the risks to Walton County residents of Ethylene Oxide (EtO). Jordan has been on a crusade to enlist support for getting the air in Walton County tested for potential exposure to air contamination from the BD Bard plant in Covington. She has spoken at city council meetings in previous weeks and wrote on the issue in a guest column on Your Local News reccently.
The Walton County BOC meeting for September is at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 at the Historic Courthouse in Downtown Monroe. The public is invited to attend. The full agenda follows.
