Members of the Loganville community are invited to weigh in on the rewriting the Loganville code ordinance during this week’s “Codeapalooza,” which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 23 in the city council chambers at City Hall, 4303 Lawrenceville Road. This is presented by TPUDC, LLC, the company tasked with the rewrite of the city’s code ordinance.
According to information from www.buildbetterloganville.com, the official website of the
zoning ordinance update, Codeapalooza gives community members a dedicated space to share their input, voice their priorities, and receive direct answers to their questions.”
The Feb. 23 event will include a hands-on mapping workshop with an opening presentation. The project will continue with a drop-in format from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 24-25 at the Historic Rock Gym located just up Main Street from City Hall. Both days will include topical meetings from noon to 1 p.m.
This will be followed by closing presentation meeting set for 6.30 p.m. on Feb. 26 back at City Hall at which time TPUDC, LLC will give a preliminary presentation on what they have learned from the public during the Codeapalooza.
The opening and closing presentations as well as some of the breakout sessions in between, if possible, will be streamed on the city’s Youtube channel.
