Dairy Queen in Monroe is back open for business. When renovations began last summer on the E. Spring Street restaurant, owner Hasan Master had hoped to be open by fall and stayed open as long as he could while renovations were being completed on the outside. However, it took a little longer than anticipated and it had to be closed temporarily for ” the back of the store and interior remodel,” Master said. The restaurant opened on Feb. 7, 2019, with the new Dairy Queen design.
