Reunited ! Veteran has his missing microchipped service dog back home

The veteran whose service dog was missing got the best birthday present ever. He got his dog back home. Ranger was caught on a neighbors ring cam and very shortly after the neighbor contacted him he was able to go get him successfully. He’s in great shape, has not lost any weight and was freshly shampooed. Tim would like to thank the communities all over for caring and sharing his story.

Initial story

Ranger’s owner has served our country. He was deeply affected by experiencing things you and I could never understand. However, his service dog Ranger does understand. His owner needs his dog back in his life as he suffers from PTSD. Some people do not realize when they find a dog to go get it scanned and the owner asked if you have found a dog that looks like his to please rush and get him scanned and return him so that ranger can bring happiness back into his life.

Ranger has been missing since the beginning of January 2020 from Bogart GA and is microchipped but it has not been scanned. I’m hoping it wasn’t missed and caused him to already be adopted out. If any of you recognize him in the photos or have any information on him or know someone who recently adopted a German shepherd that looks like him please contact me it would be greatly appreciated. He’s a PTSD service dog and very smart, he will also respond to German commands. If so I can be reached at 706-716-5815 Thank you.
