MONROE, GEORGIA – Rinse Bath & Body, a family owned leading retailer for handcrafted fresh & natural bath and body products, is hosting a meet the author and book-signing event with Anne-Marie Bilella and Denise Hardin, co-authors of Wild Eating With the Forager Chicks on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm. Rinse Bath & Body is located at 106 South Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia.
Released in November 2020, Bilella and Hardin take you on a journey into “the wonderful world of wild and local food” and hope to inspire you to try their wild recipes and make pretty meals that are full of flavor. The authors will be signing books that will be available for purchase, as well as Q & A. Admission is free.
Both driven by their love of food and ideology “Food is Medicine and Medicine is Food”, the Forager Chicks, Bilella, a staple in the Monroe Farmers Market with Bella Vista Farms and Hardin, share the passion for finding wild foods that can create beautiful dishes with easy to follow recipes satisfying the entire family.
As host of the event, Rinse Bath & Body owners, Damyn & Heather Swanepoel, say that while hosting a book signing might seem somewhat unusual, “This event will bring different people together for a unique event to celebrate the success of two of our own local community members. And, we want to always remind people why Monroe is such a great place to call home.”
