Romantic Seed to Fork dining experience in Walton County celebrates love story from days gone by

If you’re looking for some romance this Valentine’s Day, Walton Wellness’s Seed to Fork dining experience at the historic William Harris Homestead Museum and Education Center is offering you just that opportunity.

In this Valentines edition of The Seed To Fork Experience the William Harris Homestead pavilion will serve as the backdrop for a journey into the flavors and foods of days “Gone with the Wind.”

“We will step back into February 14th 1863 to uncover a secret love affair between a Civil War Soldier, Henry McDaniel of Monroe and the object of his affections a Miss Hester Felker also of Monroe,” the invitation reads. “As always Our afternoon together is led by our favorite fun loving Chef Jason Cobb. Chef Cobb will guide us through preparing a modern take on the classic Valentines Dinner for two.”

  • Spinach Salad with Warm Bacon Vinaigrette
  • Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Apples and Rosemary Pistachios
  • Crepes Suzette
  • Cherries Jubilee

This is a Covid responsible event small group, outdoors and social distancing . Masks are worn at your discretion. We will be in an weatherized outside pavilion dress accordingly.
