Scheduled repairs continue Tuesday on State Route 316 bridge

DULUTH, Ga.,- Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews will work to finish repairs on the bridge that carries traffic from State Route 316 onto Interstate 85 southbound.

Initial repairs have been completed in late January 2017 but final work to ensure a smoother ride will take place Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This work will be done weather-permitting.

This work will require the left hand lane of the bridge be closed to traffic. Cones and barrels along with advance warning signs will be placed to give drivers advance warning of the shift. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during this work and need to drive alert as Georgia DOT workers will be in the travel lane.
