Single vehicle wreck shuts down power in Walnut Grove Saturday

Officials report that a single vehicle accident at the intersection of highways 81 and 138 has temporarily interrupted the power and shut down Highway 81 at Park Street for repairs.

“Auto accident versus a power pole – lines are down, Walton EMC en route,” Battalion Chief Craig League said. “No injuries reported.”
