SOCIAL CIRCLE – On Saturday, Sept. 29, at 8 a.m., the City of Social Circle will kick-off the semi-annual City-wide Clean-up.
Those wishing to volunteer their time to help make the city a bit cleaner are asked to meet at the city’s community room attached to the Social Circle Police Department.
“This is a great opportunity to meet and greet your friends and neighbors before setting out to clean up our beautiful city before the Friendship Festival,” the city said in their monthly newsletter. “Everyone is invited. Encourage your friends and neighbors.”
The more volunteers that show up to help clean the city, the more areas can be addressed.
It is recommended that those wishing to help wear work clothes, and as always, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
