Spring 2021 arrives at 5:37 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, March 20, but it may not feel like it. In the local area, temperatures at that time will be 36 degrees and dropping. And with winds at 5 to 10 mph, the wind chill may feel closer to freezing. But, compared to spring last year, we’ve got so much more to look forward to. Instead of cancelling events, local communities are planning on getting back to business as usual for this spring and summer season. COVID-19 numbers are on a downward trend and most of us have learned to live with the changing conditions last year brought.
We’re ready to get back to life as we knew it!
Spring is a season of rebirth – the greening of the grass, the blooming of the flowers and the birth of young wildlife. It is the most beautiful season! By next weekend, the weather will be back to spring like temperatures and, after a rough 2020, we can all look forward to a much better spring and summer 2021!
