BETHLEHEM, Ga., – On Thursday, the additional ramps on the east side of the State Route 316 (SR 316) at State Route 81 (SR81) interchange will be opened to traffic.
Crews will begin working to open the ramps and installing signage on Thursday morning around 9 a.m. Georgia DOT construction management along with the contractors plan to have traffic using eastbound ramps by Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.
Drivers are reminded to slow down and drive alert as these new ramps are opened to traffic.
This project constructed a full diamond interchange providing access to and from SR 316 to the cross road SR 81. This project was awarded to CMES, Inc. in July 2017 for approximately $27 million
