Subject arrested after fleeing from traffic stop and wrecking his vehicle

Walton County Sheriff’s Office reports that Georgia State Patrol attempted a traffic stop on a subject today, Oct. 15,  but the subject had no intention of stopping. After being pursued on Highway 78, he wrecked his vehicle on Ho Hum Hollow Road and fled on foot. He was subsequently caught and transported to jail by Walton County Sheriff’s deputies.

He had no outstanding warrants and a valid drivers license so his reasons for choosing not to stop for a simple traffic violation are unknown. While he had a Conyers address prior to today, he now resides at 1425 South Madison Ave in Monroe.
