Suspect allegedly steals credit card in Grayson before going on gas station spending spree

Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspect

(Grayson, Georgia) Gwinnett Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to an entering auto and fraudulent credit card use case.

According to the press release from Gwinnett County Police Department, the man pictured in the surveillance photo is suspect of breaking into the victim’s vehicle on Madison Park Drive in Grayson in the early morning hours of July 19, 2019 and early morning hours of July 19 the suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle, on Madison Park Drive in Grayson, and stole his wallet and credit cards. He then allegedly went to the QuikTrip at 200 S Clayton Street in Lawrenceville and spent almost $50 on gas before heading to other gas stations in the metro area and spend hundreds more. The suspect is described as a black male with a tattoo on his right arm. At the time was wearing dark pants and a gray t-shirt.
