The 14th Annual GECC Chili Cookoff is in a new location this Saturday

Nothing warms your heart more on a fall afternoon than some tasty chili – and what warms your heart more than chili, for a good cause. The Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce is inviting the community to join in its 15th Annual Chili Cookoff for the first time in a new location – the Snellville Town Green located at 2342 Oak Road in Snellville. Cost to enter and get a taste of chili is $10. A portion of the proceeds are donated to charitable causes in Grayson, Snellville, and Loganville, including the Snellville Veterans Memorial. The balance is used to fund the Chamber’s operations of helping to promote business and community interaction within the Grayson-Snellville-Loganville triangle.

If you love chili, don’t miss this event. It will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 9.

The Hot Tamale Chili Cook-off is the primary fundraiser of the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce. While historically it has been held in Grayson, this year’s event will be moving to Snellville.
