This year’s theme is a “Hometown Christmas”
As officials in Monroe say, “there’s something special about Christmas in the town you grew up in — where the lights feel brighter, the cocoa tastes sweeter, and every street holds a memory. With another year almost over, what better way to really bring the Christmas season into full focus than with the Annual Christmas Parade in downtown Monroe. This year’s Hometown Christmas Parade is a celebration of all the little things we carry with us: the sound of high school bands playing carols, the glow of floats rolling past familiar faces, and that feeling of coming home — even if just for a night.”
The parade starts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at City Hall 215 N Broad Street in Monroe. The community is invited to line the streets and enjoy the festive floats as they celebrate the 2025 Christmas Season in Monroe. Broad Street will again be lined with smiling children and holiday lights for the annual Monroe Christmas Parade and officials promise this magnificent holiday tradition is one your family will not forget.
