You’re invited to the William Harris Homestead from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, for a special event. The Appalachee Settlers will be hosting the event where members will dive into the rich history of Salt Glazed Pottery, exploring its significance in food storage and preservation. They also will be sharing insights into the Summer customs of the Creek and Cherokee Indians of the region and, to add a touch of historical flair, some members will be demonstrating their muskets. So come ready for a glimpse into the past!
