The Georgia Equine Rescue League sponsors the 9th annual Stallion to Gelding clinics.

Press release from the Georgia Equine Rescue League, LTD

The Georgia Equine Rescue League, LTD, is sponsoring the 9th annual Stallion to Gelding clinics in November. Since the start of this important program, more than 1,000 stallions have been gelded which has significantly reduced the number of unwanted horses in Georgia.

For just $50 per equine, Georgia residents can have their horses, donkeys and minis castrated by licensed veterinarians who are hosting the clinics. In addition to the owners’ payments, participating veterinarians will receive $50 from GERL.

A current Tetanus vaccination and negative Coggins test are required. These procedures can also be done at the Stallion to Gelding clinics at the owners’ cost.

For more information, contact Marian Finco at 706-340-4368. Or go to the GERL website at and click on Events/Programs, then Stallion to Gelding.
