The Harlem Wizards are coming to town Friday

The Harlem Wizards basketball team will be in town Friday to take on the Walton County Warriors, a team of teachers, principals and community leaders from the County. Now in the 54th year, the Harlem Wizards will be pitting their skills agains the following Warriors team.

Taylor Brooks – Walnut Grove High School

Russ Butcher – Church at the Grove

Keith Wages – First Baptist Church of Loganville

Jonathan Howes – Graystone Church

David Pollack – Graystone Church

Dyon Duncan – Sharon Elementary

Tommy Gibson – Walton County Board of Education

Don’t miss this fun-filled, high flying & interactive community event. You’re invited to come cheer on your favorite teachers. The event takes place from 7:30 – 9 p.m. on Friday, May 12, at Walnut Grove High School, located at 4863 Guthrie Cemetery Road, Loganville. The game is a fundraiser for the Walnut Grove High School Lady Warriors Softball. Advance tickets are $10 for students, $12 for adults. They can be purchased at harlemwizards.com. At the door they are $12 students and $14 adults. Space is limited so you may want to purchase as soon as you can.
