The World Mission Society Church of God has opened a new location in Loganville, Georgia. A special dedication service was held on Saturday September 21st 2019 marking the church’s official opening date. The Loganville facility serves as the Church of God’s Southeastern headquarters gathering members from all across Georgia, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina for worship, education and events. Currently, the World Mission Society Church of God has over 3 million registered members with more than 7,500 locations in 175 countries worldwide.
Founded in 1964 by Ahnsahnghong in the Republic of Korea, the Church of God continues to grow steadily in both busy metropolitan cities and rural areas alike. The truths of the bible that unite all members of the church include Jesus’s teaching of the New Covenant Passover, prophesies regarding the appearance of the Second Coming Christ, and most notably the existence of God the Mother.
The World Mission Society Church of God has received several prestigious awards for its volunteer services and good deeds including the U.K. Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, and the Green Apple Award in the United Kingdom along with the Presidential Citation in South Korea and the President’s Volunteer Service Award in the United States. The Church of God has also been recognized here in Georgia with honors including two recent proclamations given by the Atlanta City Council on October 7, 2019. In Loganville, volunteers from the Church of God have carried out two cleanup campaigns and one blood drive with each event drawing over 100 participants.
