TRIAD Nov. 6 will include breakfast and a tour of the Walton County Public Safety Complex

The Nov. 6 TRIAD meeting will begin in Loganville half an hour earlier than usual and will end up with a tour of the new Public Safety Complex in Monroe.

“This is just a reminder that at our next TRIAD meeting will be a trip to our new Public Safety Complex (or Jail).  We will meet at 8.30 a.m. at The Retreat and be bussed from there or drive from there to the Complex.  This will be on November 6th which is a week from this Friday,” Pat Pippen said. “As Sheriff Brooks said, there will be as much or as little walking as you are able or want to do, so wear your comfortable shoes.”

Breakfast will be served at the Walton County Public Safety Complex in Monroe. Be sure to note the time change on this occasion is 8:30 a.m. in order to facilitate getting to the complex in time for breakfast and the tour.

Senior Citizens in the county are invited to attend the TRIAD meetings in Loganville each month and to bring a friend, or two. On the first Friday of every month, local senior citizens gather in the community room at the Retreat at Loganville (formerly Southern Plantation) for the Walton County TRIAD meeting. This gives law enforcement the opportunity to meet with seniors and brief them on what is going on in the community and address some of their safety concerns. City and county officials also give an update on items of interest to residents – and breakfast is served.

The Retreat of Loganville is located at 580 Tommy Lee Fuller Drive in Loganville.
