UPDATE
Due to the weather forecast calling for a 60-percent chance of rain Saturday, March 17, the 13th Annual Classic Car Show in Monroe was postponed. It is scheduled to take place this Saturday, March 24, which was the advertised rain date.
Initial Story
It’s time for the 13th Annual Classic Car Show. It will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, March 17th in historic downtown Monroe. Participants come from all over the state of Georgia as the streets are crowded with car enthusiasts. All Cars participating in the show must be registered and will set up on Court Street, Midland Avenue, and Washington Street near the Historic Walton County Courthouse. There is no cost to stroll through the streets and view these classic showpieces.
Car product vendors will be peddling their wares and contestants and guests alike will be treated to classic rock and roll by Cruzin to the Oldies DJ Tommy Landrum and food from downtown restaurants will be available at the food court for both breakfast and lunch.
In case of rain, the car show will be moved to Saturday, March 24th. Registration begins at 8:00 am and is $20 per car. Download your registration form.
