Walton County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an armed robbery that took place Thursday afternoon, Sept. 14, 2017, at the Shell gas station on Highway 81 in Walton County. Interim Sheriff Keith Brooks said that the man walked into the gas station brandishing a weapon and handed over a bag, instructing that the money be placed into it.

“He then left on foot headed toward Walnut Grove/Jersey Road. We are worked the crime scene and canvassing leads in the area,” Brooks said.

The man is described as a black male, about 5′ 8″, wearing a grey hoodie with pin stripes, blue jeans and red shoes.
