Initial story
Monroe Fire Department reported at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, 2019, that North Broad Street at Marable Street in Monroe is temporarily closed due to a two-vehicle accident with one minor injury. Monroe Police Department is investigating the scene due to one person fleeing the scene. Expect delays for 30 minutes or so.
