UPDATE: Enchanted Forest Festival at William Harris Homestead for Saturday POSTPONED

Tanya Parker, social media director for William Harris Homestead said they have decided to postpone the Enchanted Forest Festival scheduled for tomorrow due to weather concerns.

“After much deliberation we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Enchanted Forest Festival on Saturday May 4th for the safety of our youngest visitors. We’ve kept a close eye on the constantly changing weather predictions and have come to the conclusion that many of our planned outdoor activities would not be enjoyable on a damp, rainy day,” Parker said. “We are in talks with the wee folk who inhabit the woodlands around the homestead and are planning a magical mid-September day for invitations all around!”

Parker said pre-purchased tickets may be used for the rescheduled date or refunded.

“Please email tanya@harrishomestead.com for refunds. Thank you for your continued support of the William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center,” Parker said.

The community is invited to this year’s Enchanted Forest Festival at the William Harris Homestead Museum & Education Center from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024. This is the second time this event has been held following a successful inaugural event last year.
