Update:

Lauren Ann Macke, 28, the homeowner of the house at 5262 Meridian Lake Drive in Monroe that sustained damage in a house fire on Wednesday morning, is currently in the Walton County Detention Center charged with arson in the second degree, possession, manufacture of a controlled substance and failure to appear. At this time no bail is listed as being set in jail records.
Update
Walton County Fire Rescue is reporting that after completing the initial investigation into the cause of the fire on Meridian Lake Drive this morning, the fire been ruled as being intentionally set.
“Investigators from Walton County Fire Rescue, the Georgia State Fire Marshal’s office, and Walton County Sheriff’s Department conducted the investigation. Investigators believe there is enough evidence to bring charges for Arson in the case,” WCFR Assistant Fire Chief Craig League said. “A person of interest in this case is currently in custody at Walton County Jail on an unrelated charge.”
League said warrants are currently being taken on the arson charges. The investigation is ongoing.
Update
Walton County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief said fire crews were able to make a good attack on the fire resulting in just moderate damage to the interior with smoke damage throughout.
“We have an investigator on the way to determine the fire cause,” League said. One person has been displaced and is receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

Walton County Fire Rescue and Loganville Fire Department are on the scene of a working house fire in the 5000 block of Meridian Lake Drive in Loganville.
WCFR Assistant Chief Craig League said there are heavy flames showing.
