Members Show Reception rescheduled and all weekend events cancelled due to Winter Storm Watch Saturday
The Monroe Walton Center for the Arts has been keeping a close eye on the weekend weather forecast with the potential for icy conditions and has gone ahead and cancelled all weekend events. The Members’ Show Reception scheduled for Saturday evening has been rescheduled. The new date is Jan. 31.
They also have decided to close Saturday and Sunday so there will be no classes or events this weekend. Any classes that have been canceled will be rescheduled, and refunds will be available if you’re unable to attend a make-up date.
Any updates will be shared on the Facebook page.
“The Sheriff’s Office has advised *avoiding travel from Saturday at noon through Sunday evening (or later)*, and all county operations are closed during this time. Your safety — and the safety of our artists, students, and staff — comes first,” MWCA posted on social media.
Stay tuned to the MWCA Facebook page for updates.
