The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office report that Ethan Andrew Ramey, wanted in connection with the stabbing death of his girlfriend, was taken into custody without incident in the early morning hours of May 12 after receiving a tip that he was in the 4600 block of Braselton Highway.

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Loganville man who is suspected in the stabbing death of his girlfriend.
BCSO reported that on Thursday, May 10, 2018, it responded to a residence at 1306 Highway 124 in Barrow County regarding a woman who possibly “fell on a knife.” Deputies arrived to find a wound in the neck of the victim, Kellie Roop, 42, of Buford. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the victim to Northeast Georgia Medical Center where she was pronounced dead. The investigation determined that the victim had allegedly been attacked and Ethan Andrew Ramey, 29, of Loganville was identified as the suspect. Warrants have been obtained for Ramey for felony murder and aggravated assault.
The BCSO is currently searching for Ramey and any information of his whereabouts should be forwarded to Investigator Chris Jackson at 770-307-3080 ext. 4643.
