Update: Missing Grayson elderly couple located in South Carolina

Update

Gwinnett County Police Department is reporting that both Leatrice and Robert Bartholomew were located in Anderson SC.  They were both healthy and there was no sign of foul play in their disappearance.  The family was notified and the Mattie’s Call has been removed.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued for an elderly couple that has been missing from Grayson in Gwinnett County since Friday, Nov. 10, 2017.

According to a press release from Gwinnett County Police Department, on Nov. 10, family members for Leatrice and Robert Bartholomew reported that the the couple left their residence in the 2200 block of Pinehurst View Drive in Grayson at about 4 p.m. on Friday and have not been seen since. Family members say that they both suffer from diminished mental capacity and Leatrice Bartholomew had not been taking her medicine in recent days and her behavior in recent days has become erratic. The couple left the home in their blue 2016 Kia Optima (Georgia tag RCV0703).

The couple did not return to the house overnight and at this time there has not been any contact from them.  Since they both suffer from diminished mental capacities, the Gwinnett County Police Department issued a Mattie’s Call this morning.

Leatrice Bartholomew is described as a white female approximately 5’05 in height and 135 pounds in weight.  She has black hair, but often wears a blonde wig.  She was last seen wearing a purple velvet shirt and black pants. Her husband is approximately 5’10 in height and 170 pounds in weight. He has gray hair with blue eyes, and he was last seen wearing a multi-colored button up flannel shirt with slacks.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking the public to report any contact they have with the couple or their vehicle.  At this time, the family has no idea where they may have gone.
