Update: Missing person from Gwinnett found safe

Gwinnett County Police Department report that Gwendolyn Hugbberd has been located safe and unharmed. A Central Precinct officer located her in an adjacent apartment complex, resting in a breezeway.  She has been reunited with her family.

Initial Story

(Lawrenceville, Georgia) – Gwinnett Police are currently searching for a missing person.  Gwendolyn Hugbberd (62 years old) was last seen in the area of Retreat at Riverside Apartments located at 1000 Duluth Highway in unincorporated Lawrenceville around 2:00 pm.  Gwinnett Police were notified of the call around 5:00 pm after the family was unable to locate her.  Gwendolyn moved to the area a few months ago and is not familiar with the area.  Gwendolyn left her apartment with no identification or cell phone and she is often distrusting of strangers.  She goes by the nickname of “Sisco.”  She is approximately 5’01” tall and 130 pounds.  She was last seen wearing a red shirt, blue stretch pants, and has a black orthopedic boot on her right foot.  She also walks with a black cane.  If anyone has any information on her whereabouts please contact 9-1-1 immediately.
