Update: Missing person in Mattie’s Call found safe

Gwinnett County Police Department report that Samantha Ash has been found safe in Atlanta. Her family has been notified.

Initial story

(Lawrenceville, Georgia)  A Mattie’s Call has been issued for Samantha Ash, 30.  She was last seen on foot in the area of Sugarloaf Mills on Friday, May 4, at about 2:54 p.m.

Ash was last seen wearing a black cardigan, white shirt with red writing, and open-toed sandals.  She is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs 140 lbs. She has brown eyes and red hair. She suffers from Cerebral Palsy and has a diminished mental capacity.

If anyone sees a woman matching the description of Samantha Ash, they are asked to call 911.  She is listed on GCIC as a Missing Person.
