Update
At 9 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, Walton County Fire Rescue reported that one lane had been opened on Highway 11. It will, however, be closed intermittently for cleanup.
Initial story
Walton County Fire Rescue is on the scene of an overturned tractor trailer. Battalion Chief Craig League said that Highway 11 is shut down both north and south bound in the area of Eliza Doster Roadd, north of Campton.
“A detour is being established at Hwy 11 to Emmett Doster Road to Shoal Creek Road, back to Highway 11. Expect the highway to be closed for several hours for cleanup,” League said. “The truck was carrying a full load of plywood.”
League said the driver of the truck is being treated for minor injuries
