Update: Road re-opens after repairs to gas line ruptured by Loganville wreck


Loganville officials announced at 11:20 a.m. Sunday, March 10, that Bay Creek and Brand Road have now been re-opened after the single-vehicle wreck that damaged a gas line.


The road will remain closed for a few hours so repairs can be made to the gas line. Lawrenceville Natural Gas is on the scene. There were no life-threatening injuries to the victim.

Public Safety official in the City of Loganville are currently working a single-vehicle wreck in the area of Bay Creek and Brand Road. One person was transported to the hospital with injuries and officials report that a gas line was struck by the vehicle.

Officials are still on the scene and, according to witnesses, access from Brand Road and Bay Creek is being blocked. Avoid the area if possible.
