Driver had to be extricated and has been charged in the crash

Georgie State Patrol Assistant Post 46 Commander Cristoph Ayers gave the following update to the Saturday night crash in Walton County that sent two young children to the hospital.
“Deandrea Fleming, (age 31) was driving a 2012 Honda Accord on SR 186 when she lost control and crashed off the roadway. There was 2 juvenile passengers that were transported. The driver had to extracted by fire department personnel. Trooper Robertson #921 investigated the crash and was able to determine the driver had failed to stop at the stop sign. This action caused the crash and she was charged with failure to stop at a stop sign , failure to maintain lane violation and a child safety restraint violation,” Ayers said.
WALTON COUNTY, GA (March 30, 2025) – It was a busy night in Walton County with first responders dealing with a structure fire and a single vehicle crash with injuries within 20 minutes of each other.
Walton County Fire Rescue Deputy Chief Craig League reported that crews responded to a single vehicle crash on Ga Hwy 186 at High Shoals Road at 9:56 p.m. The vehicle was off the roadway and in the woods with multiple injuries reported and one entrapment.
League said the driver was an adult but there were some child passengers injured.
Georgia State Patrol worked the crash and we will update with details once we get them from GSP.
