Gwinnett County Police Department report that the suspect in the Gwinnett County March 26 double homicide, William Jerome Adams, was arrested in Texas earlier this week after attempting to enter Mexico and will be extradited back to Georgia to face prosecution. The victims in this case have been identified as Mary Lindsay, 39, and her son, Atif Muhammad, 16.
Woman and her 16-year-old son found shot

(Flowery Branch, Ga., March 26, 2021) – The Gwinnett County Police Department is actively seeking William Jerome Adams in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Flowery Branch earlier today.
Just after 2 p.m. today, March 26, 2021, GCPD received an emergency call on two people who had been shot at a residence on Apple Grove Road in Flowery Branch. Officers arrived to find two victims suffering from gunshot wounds, a 40-year-old female and her 16-year-old son. Their names are being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

Police believes Adams was in a relationship with the female victim. He is believed to have fled the area in a 2010 black Audi passenger car, Georgia tag No. RWT9487. Adams is a 24-year-old male, approximately 6′ 2′ in height and weighing about 210 pounds.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to please come forward. They are asked to contact GCPD detectives at 770-513-5300.
