Dekalb County Police report that the suspect in the shooting death of a cab driver on July 14 has been identified and arrested.
“On July 26, 2019,25-year-oldd Brian McGhee was arrested and charged with Felony Murder and Aggravated Assault in the shooting death of Zenon Perez. He has been lodged in the DeKalb County Jail,” DCPD reported in a press release.

Tucker, Ga. – The Dekalb Police department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in the shooting death of a cab driving on July 14, 2019. According to a press release, at 11:15 p.m. that night Zenon Perez was shot and killed inside of his taxi cab at 3207 Henderson Mill Rd (Sierra Hills Apartments). DeKalb County Police Homicide Detectives have identified a person of interest in this shooting and is asking anyone with information on the identity of this person to contact the DeKalb County Police Department at 770-724-7850 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS(8477).
