Three suspects have now been charged in the murder of . Gwinnett County Police Department report that Joshua Donnell Cook, 17, of Stone Mountain, Corey Leemarce Bryant, 18, of Lithonia and Terrance Elijah Thompson, 17, of Stone Mountain are all charged with murder and armed robbery. As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Thompson and Cook had already been booked into Gwinnett County Jail.
Cook was arrested on Monday, March 13, and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail shortly before 5pm. Bryant has not been booked into the Gwinnett County Jail as of 8am.
“This is a deeply disturbing case involving four young men who were at the beginning of their adult lives. There is no peaceful resolution to the conclusion of this criminal investigation,” said Gwinnett County Police Department public information officer Cpl. Michele Pihera. “On one side, you have a family grieving the loss of a 19-year old. And, at the other end are three families trying to understand how their teen could be involved in such a crime. A young person lost his life while the other three are facing a lifetime of imprisonment for one very serious criminal act.
Update: Gwinnett Police have announced the arrest of a second suspect in the murder of a 19-year-old in the Loganville area over the weekend. Joshua Cook is now also in custody. A third suspect is still being sought.
A 17-year-old from Stone Mountain has been arrested in connection with the weekend murder of a Loganville teen and the lead investigator from Gwinnett County Police Department said two other as yet unidentified suspects are being sought.
Terrance Elisha Thornton, 17, of Stone Mountain was arrested just before 6 p.m. on Sunday and is charged with murder and armed robbery. GCPD report that it is believed that this homicide was drug-related and tips are actively being sought in this case.. (Editor’s Note: An arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.)
Gwinnett County Police Department has identified the gunshot victim in the Loganville area of Gwinnett County as Jacquorrius Madison, 19. GCPD officers responded to the neighborhood’s swim and tennis area of the 4600 block of Grove Lake Street in unincorporated Loganville at about 5:50 p.m. on March 11, 2017. They arrived to find that a group of teenagers had been fighting and one had been shot. He was transported to a local hospital where he subsequently died as a result of his injuries. His next of kin have been notified.
GCPD report that detectives and crime scene investigators are actively working the case, but information on a motive and suspects is not being released at this time.

Gwinnett County police are en route to a homicide scene at 4623 Grove Lake Street in the Loganville area of the county. Sgt. Jake Smith with Gwinnett County Police Department said a man, believed to be about 19 years old, is reportedly dead from a gunshot wound.
